Study on Early Shrinkage and Mechanical Properties of Concrete with Various Cementitious Materials

Due to the rapid development of industrialization, recycling and utilization industrial by-products have received extensive attention. In this paper, binary, ternary, quaternary composite cementitious materials were prepared using steel slag, blast furnace fly ash, effects different on concrete properties explored. A variety solid wastes mixed, batches with high mechanical durability by adjusting type amount used. total 15 tested for compressive strength, splitting tensile axial elastic modulus, drying shrinkage. The test results show that a slag powder, powder ratio 1:1:2 produces best properties. Among them, cube strength can reach 62.9 MPa, is 5.7 modulus are increased, early shrinkage small, growth rate slow, 28d 4.87 × 10−4. This new green mixed not only control production costs, but also reduce environmental impact decrease carbon dioxide emissions.
